Thank you for visiting Arundel Bay Christian Academy's Website. I would like to extend an invitation for you and your family to visit our school and observe our classrooms in progress. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please feel free to call our office.
Choosing a school for your child is a very important decision that requires much thought and research. I would like to acquaint you with a few key elements that make our school the right choice for many families.
ABCA is a small Christian school with a challenging curriculum and an emphasis on hands-on learning. Our scores on the Standard Achievement Test are consistently above the national average. We have a professional teaching staff that shows love and concern for each child and will help your child do their best.
At Arundel Bay Christian Academy we also believe that character development is an important part of each child's education. A child's moral choices and values will be greatly influenced over the course of their education. We believe that it is important to continuously and consistently guide our students to know and pursue what is good and what is true. We emphasize the importance of truth and faith by integrating biblical principals into all aspects of the curriculum. Additionally, whether we are teaching math, science, history or any other subject, we have an ongoing effort to help our students apply themselves in such a way that virtues such as self-discipline, responsibility and perserverance become internalized.
At ABCA we believe in small class sizes in order to allow for one-on-one instructions and an increased awareness of individual strengths and weaknesses. In K-3 through kindergarten we have two full-time teachers and a class limit of 23. In 1st through 8th grades we have a class limit of 22.
If you would like to apply to ABCA, I urge you to act quickly. Visit our Admissions page for instruction on how to apply. I look forward to meeting you and your family and hope that you plan to be with us in the next school year.
Sincerely,
Tammie O. Hall
